Businesi Contres S.R.L. keeps a photo and film studio at Strada Armenească 15, MD-2012 Chișinău. This notice says what personal data the studio handles, on what ground, and how to reach the person who answers for it. It is written for Law No. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data, in force in the Republic of Moldova since 23 August 2026. That law replaced Law No. 133/2011 and follows the standard of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Who holds the data

The controller is Businesi Contres S.R.L., IDNO 1023600045187, Strada Armenească 15, MD-2012 Chișinău, sectorul Centru, Republic of Moldova. Phone +373 69 418 273. For a brief about a job, write to [email protected]. For a question about your data, write to [email protected]. The same two people who keep the diary answer both addresses. There is no separate marketing desk.

Notices about a booked job can also be sent by post to the Armenească address. If you write in Romanian, Russian, or English, we reply in the language you used.

What this website does

The site is a set of static pages. It does not open an account, it does not run a shop, and it does not store what you type in the brief form on a server of ours. The form uses your own email program and addresses the message to [email protected]. If the program does not open, you can write to that address yourself. The pages do not load analytics, advertising pixels, embedded players, or fonts from another site. The script on the site only switches photographs in the day notes and the stills, film, and finishing notes. It does not read the form, and it does not write to cookies, local storage, or session storage.

The company that serves the files may keep a connection log: the IP address, the time, and the page requested. We ask that those logs be kept for security and deleted within 45 days. We do not use them to build a profile, and we do not match them to a brief.

What we collect when you write or call

When you send a brief, call the studio, or come to a recce, we hold what we need to answer and, if you book, to do the job:

  • your name, email, and phone number
  • the place in Chișinău, or outside it, and the dates you propose
  • whether you need stills, film, finishing, or a mix, and where the pictures will be used
  • the text of the brief and our reply
  • the estimate, the invoice, and the record of what was paid
  • names on a model release when a person is recognizable in a frame we deliver
  • a note about access, if you tell us that stairs are a problem, because the finishing room is three steps up and the hall is level with the gate

We do not ask for an identity card number, a health record, or a card number on this website. The bank account is printed on the invoice. If you put a special-category detail into a brief anyway, we delete it from the working notes unless it is required to get you into the hall safely.

Why we use it

We use the data to answer you, to prepare an estimate, to perform the shoot you book, and to deliver the files. That is the step before a contract, and then the contract, under the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova, Law No. 1107/2002.

We keep invoices and the brief attached to a paid job because the law on accounting requires a record. The statute is Law No. 287/2017 on accounting and financial reporting, together with the tax rules in force. We do not keep those papers in order to write to you later about a new offer.

We have a legitimate interest in securing the studio, in answering a message you sent, and in keeping a release that shows we had permission to deliver a picture of a person. That interest is weighed against your rights. It is not a ground for a mailing list. We do not send newsletters. Buying a day, or asking for an estimate, is not consent to advertising. Law No. 195/2024 requires consent for direct marketing to be a real, specific act that we can show, and that you can take back as easily as you gave it. We do not ask for that consent, because we do not send those messages.

Where we do rely on consent, it is the release for a recognizable person, and any future cookie that is not strictly necessary. This site sets no cookie now. See the cookies page. You can withdraw a consent by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal stops a new use that depended on it. It does not pull back a delivery already made under a release that was signed for a stated use.

We make no decision about you by automated means alone. A person reads the brief.

People in the pictures

If a frame shows a recognizable person and we are going to deliver it for publication, that person signs a release first. The release names the use. A minor does not sign alone. A parent or guardian signs. The studio does not offer a service aimed at children, and this website does not knowingly collect data from a child. If a brief is about a child in a picture, say so, and we will ask for the guardian’s name and the release before any file leaves Armenească.

Staff crossing a room count. If you do not want a cook, a client, or a passer-by to be identifiable, say so at the recce and we frame for it, or we withhold the frame.

How long we keep it

A brief that never becomes a job is deleted within 14 months of the last message. Invoices, contracts, and the brief that belongs to them are kept for the period required by Law No. 287/2017 and by the tax rules. In an ordinary year that is at least five years after the year of the invoice. If a dispute is open, we keep the file until it ends.

A model release is kept for the term of the licence and for five years after the licence ends, because that is the window in which a claim about the picture can still arrive. Connection logs at the host, if they exist, are not kept by us beyond 45 days.

When the period ends we delete the file or reduce it so that it no longer identifies you. A picture that is part of the studio’s own record of a job may remain in the archive at the hall, without your contact details attached, where the licence allows the studio to keep it.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data. We do not pass a brief to an advertising network. The people who see a job file are the two of us, and, on a film day, the assistant who is in the room. A drive you collect is handed to you or to the person you name in writing.

Your email provider, and the host of our mailbox, process the message in order to deliver it. That can mean the message passes through a server outside the Republic of Moldova, because that is how mail is routed. We do not add a second processor for marketing on top of that. The company that serves these static pages may process the short connection log described above, for security, as a processor or as a separate controller of its own logs. We do not authorize that company to use the log for its own advertising.

If a court, the tax authority, or the Centrul Național pentru Protecția Datelor cu Caracter Personal requires a disclosure, we give what the order covers and nothing wider.

Your rights

Under Law No. 195/2024 you can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you, and how it is used
  • correct what is wrong
  • delete it, where the law allows deletion
  • restrict how it is used
  • give you a copy in a common format, where the processing is based on a contract or on consent and is carried out by automated means
  • stop a use for direct marketing, which in our case means we confirm that we send none
  • object to a use based on legitimate interest
  • ask for a person to look at a decision, where a decision was made about you by automated means alone, which we do not do

Write to [email protected], or call +373 69 418 273, or post to Strada Armenească 15, MD-2012 Chișinău. We answer within one month. If the request is complex or if several arrive together, we write within that month to say we need more time, up to two further months, and we say why. We may ask for enough detail to be sure we are writing to the right person. We do not charge for a reasonable request. A repeated or clearly unfounded request may be refused, and we will explain the refusal.

A complaint

You can complain to the supervisory authority: Centrul Național pentru Protecția Datelor cu Caracter Personal, str. Serghei Lazo 48, MD-2004 Chișinău, phone +373 22 820 801, [email protected]. You can also go to the courts of the Republic of Moldova. Nothing in this notice limits that right. If you write to us first, we will still answer. You do not have to write to us before you complain to the Centre.

Changes

If this notice changes, the new text is posted on this page with a new date. The notice you are reading is dated 2 November 2026. A change does not quietly widen the use of a brief we already hold. If a new use would need consent, we ask for it before we start.
